I Confess…

Attraction isn’t my best work. There… I put it out there for everyone to see. Am I insane for posting this? Perhaps, but aren’t all authors, artists, and creatives just a touch crazy? I mean we have to be to put those images, voices, and ideas that dance in our heads onto some canvas — be it pages in a book, in a song, or through some other art form.

Why Then

Attraction is the first book in the Scandalous Series. While it isn’t the first manuscript I ever wrote, it was the first one I was brave enough to publish knowing I’d get some push back. I made some changes to it as I added more novels to this series but I never completely re-wrote it because I wanted to stay true to it. My writing has improved as I wrote more, read more, and challenged myself to do more. Writing has always been a passion of mine. I still have the collection of poetry I wrote in middle school. I named my first child after my favorite character in a series. That’s love. That’s commitment. Yeah, it’s a little nutty too.

But Wait!

In reality, it doesn’t mean I don’t want you to read my book. In fact, I’m proud of my novel and encourage you to give it a shot. You might just fall in love with the characters and want to read the next book in the series, Irresistible. As a matter of fact, each book will feature a specific couple. I consider Attraction as setting the stage for the Scandalous Series.
